The Tortoise and the Hare · Beginner readers (ages 5-6)
Level “Beginner readers” (ages 5-6): slightly longer texts with clear lettering, for children who already read quite well. Our own version of the Aesop classic: a boastful hare and a steady tortoise race each other. A short story about perseverance and humility, with illustrations to read as a family.
